THE AMERICAN POLITICAL ITEMS COLLECTORS

We would like to welcome you to the website of the American Political Items Collectors! The APIC, started in 1945, has over 2000 members and is one of the oldest hobby organizations in the country next to coin and stamp collector organizations. Our members are quite diverse, young and old, and come from all walks of life. We have members with interests in history, politics, political parties, social movements, the environment, and many other areas.
If you are not familiar with the APIC and this sounds interesting to you, we urge you to join. Please spend some time checking out the website, as this will help you familiarize yourself with the organization. If you have questions, feel free to email any one of the contacts listed under the "About the APIC" heading and the "Submit a Question or Suggestion" sub-heading.

The Benefits of Becoming an APIC Member
The APIC has several regularly scheduled publications that you will receive as part of your membership. The Keynoter is a quarterly color publication full of both interesting articles and images of campaign collectibles. Also, a monthly newsletter is printed and included in the Political Bandwagon, a newspaper format publication that also contains articles, images, advertisements, news, and highlight from auctions of political campaign memorabilia. A roster is available, both on the web and in print, of all members in the organization.
Regional and national shows occur in various regions around the country and are attended by members and the general public to buy, sell and trade political campaign memorabilia and visit with other collectors. In addition to regular memberships, the APIC offers youth, family and international memberships. A regular membership for someone in the US only costs $28.00 US per year. Multi-year memberships are also available.
