Monroe D Ray Chapter

The Monroe D Ray Chapter

Background: This chapter takes its name from one of the great founding fathers of the APIC. The chapter was originally established in Binghamton, New York in 1965 as the NYPA (New York & Pennsylvania) chapter of the APIC. On May 11th, 1974, the chapter officially changed its name to the Monroe D. Ray Chapter after the passing of Ray. In 1993, the chapter merged with the George R. Lunn Chapter of Albany, New York and thus the Monroe D. Ray Chapter came to serve all of New York State.

This chapter sponsors two shows each year.  The springtime show is always held in Auburn, NY the first weekend in May.  The fall show is in Albany, NY and usually falls on the 2nd week of October.
